Boeing… Boing Boing
After the earnings announcement this week, experts estimate that the 737 Max crisis has cost Boeing about a billion USD. Is that a “fair price to pay” for 346 lives lost and the arrogance and lack of empathy for the victims? Especially since the 2nd crash could have been avoided – if the first one would have been investigated properly – instead of blaming the airline and the (hero -) pilots?
Considering that the loss equals the value of about 7-10 Boeing 737 Max (depending on model), Boeing executives most likely still consider this peanuts.
And since we still haven’t seen any sincere apology to the families of the victims and to the airlines, we might want to keep the “pressure up”…
